A free Community Shred Day will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center (32850 Electric Blvd). Two shred trucks will be on hand to help you securely dispose of your sensitive documents.
Each household may bring up to five standard size copy paper boxes or five grocery-sized bags of personal, confidential documents.
Examples of items acceptable for shredding:
* Bank information and canceled checks
* Outdated bills
* Medical information
* Staples & small paper clips
* Obsolete invoices
* Mortgage and loan information
* Letters, envelopes, ledgers
* Other clean paper
