We are pleased to be partnering with Woodsboro Bank to offer a community shred event on Saturday, May 9, 2025.The Shred Event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Thurmont Elementary School (805 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD 21788).
We ask that you bring a non-perishable food item for each box of shred you bring. There is a limit of five boxes.
Acceptable Items – Office paper, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, folders, hanging folders, labels.
Non-Acceptable Items – newspapers & magazines, binders, heavy plastics, cardboard, heavy metal, heavy carbon, trash, x-rays, floppy disks, CDs, batteries, previously shredded paper.
