This year's Community Read of Bite by Bite: Nourishments and Jamborees by Aimee Nezhukumatathil is sponsored by the Galesburg Public Library Foundation.The kickoff this year is a sampling of some of the foods mentioned in Bite by Bite. We'll ask you questions to get you thinking about the relationship between food, memory, and identity. We'll also sample the bits of the book that mention the foods you're tasting! This will be the first chance to pick up your FREE copy of the book, or if you can't attend the kickoff, you can pick up a copy in front of the Checkout Desk.
After this event, you can find your free copy of the book at the library, Taco Hideout, Hi-Lo Grocery Store, Coney Island, The Beanhive, Innkeepers, Cornucopia, and the Galesburg Community Arts Center.
