Monitoring Pest Animals
A first step towards protecting wildlife from introduced animal pests, is to learn what's there and where. Monitoring with chew cards (non-toxic, filled with peanut butter) is a tool to help in the journey towards restoring the mauri and mana of te taiao.
Better Health For All
Introduced pests including rodents are harmful not only to native wildlife, but people too! This is a first step towards actively protecting the marae and nearby grounds.
