Be a part of the City of Joondalup’s community planting event for World Environment Day.
Every year, World Environment Day inspires millions of people around the world to care for and protect their natural environment.
Roll up your sleeves and join in as we work together to plant hundreds of native seedlings at the Ocean Reef Foreshore, north of Mullaloo Beach, on Sunday 7 June 2026. Together, our efforts will help to expand the vegetation cover, addressing the impacts of climate change, providing habitat and food sources for native fauna, and increasing biodiversity. This is your chance to help us make a difference in our community!
Full training, equipment and assistance will be provided on the day.
All ages and abilities welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring gloves, a trowel, water bottle, and wear long pants and enclosed shoes. Morning tea will be provided.
This event is free to attend; however registration is essential.
