CPR is leading the "pack" for our post-Thanksgiving walk - for those that are in town. Some of our adoptable dogs will be in attendance and all breeds are encouraged to join! Use these walks to socialize your dog, meet some cool folks and get those steps in. These walks are usually on the last Sunday of the month, in different locations throughout Oakland and beyond. This month, we'll meet in front of the Richmond Ferry Terminal and walk along the water. There should be plenty of parking. The walk is less than 2 hours, on a flat paved path. Plan to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for you & your pups.
These events are free to the public. Please be respectful of other dogs' space and ask before you let your dog greet another dog. Your dog should be on a secure collar and a leash that is no more than 6ft in length. Retractable leashes are not permitted. Please bring poop bags to clean up after your pooch, as well as water and sunblock. One dog per handler preferred.
