Join us for our May Community Pack walk. That's right, CPR is leading the "pack" for another fun-filled community pack walk! Some of our adoptable dogs will be in attendance and all breeds are encouraged to join! Use these walks to socialize your dogs, ask questions, or even scope out a new friend for your existing pup. These walks are on the last Sunday of the month, in different locations throughout Oakland and beyond. This month, we'll be at the beautiful beachy setting of Pt. Pinole! We'll meet by the water fountain / bathrooms at the parking lot (located near the correctional facility, NOT the newer parking lot). NOTE: You will make a left on Giant Highway from Atlas Rd (do not continue going straight) and then the parking entrance for Pt. Pinole is on the right hand side.
Please keep in mind there may be a fee to park in the lot, so please bring cash. We are also starting this walk at 9am (an hour earlier than usual).
These events free to the public. Please be respectful of other dogs' space and ask before you let your dog greet another dog. Please bring poop bags to clean up after your pooch, as well as water. Reminder that retractable leashes are not permitted and length must be 6ft or less.
