Community Nature Nights are free, open invitation workshops intended to inspire curiosity, learning, and connection.
About this Event

Ever wonder what the creatures are up to after dark? When do the owls come out? Who is making all those tracks in the freshly fallen snow when the humans have gone to bed and are cozy in their homes?

Join Owain, Lead Instructor and Red Wolf Camp Manager to explore the wintry urban ravines. We will be going out with our flashlights and our curiosity to see what we can find and trace the stories of our nighttime neighbours. There will be hot drinks and storytelling to cap up the night and share what everyone has found.

*We'll be meeting at King's Mill Park (Toronto). You can find our meeting spot here on this map. Please bring a flashlight and your own nut-free snacks, if you'd like.

Pine's Community Nature Nights are free and open invitation workshops intended to inspire curiosity, learning, and connection. Each month, experienced mentors create a space for community members to grow their naturalist knowledge, tackle new outdoor skills, and explore mentoring techniques that support nature connection. Gatherings vary in theme and location (in-person and online) to create opportunities for more people to engage in nature connection. While gatherings are geared towards adults, all ages who feel able to respectfully engage with a given theme are welcome (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Join us to learn, laugh, and build connections with our human and more-than-human community!
