About this Event
Join Kaylarie Gallerie for a relaxed, pet-friendly community hike at Mission Creek Preserve 🌿🐾
This is an easy, beginner-friendly hike perfect for all experience levels — including first-time hikers and senior dogs.
We’ll start with a quick intro, then head out together to enjoy the peaceful desert landscape, connect with other pet lovers, and get some fresh morning air before the heat kicks in.
What to Expect:
- Flat 1.5 miles in, 1.5 miles out (3 miles total)
- Wide dirt road trail (no technical terrain)
- Dog-friendly (leash required)
- Great for beginners + slower-paced hikers
- Scenic desert + rare wetland views
The preserve sits in a unique transition zone between the Mojave and Sonoran deserts and even features a lush wetland habitat, home to birds and wildlife you wouldn’t expect in the desert.
Important Notes:
- The drive in includes a dirt road
- Small parking lot — park close together
- Overflow parking available along the road leading in
- No shade — we’re going early for a reason
- Please bring water for you and your dog
- You are responsible for your own pet
