Be part of something bigger.Join us April 14 for a community paint night where you’ll create a tile for a large-scale mural coming to downtown Brookings this summer. Each piece will help form a vibrant, collective work of art—made by the community, for the community.
We’ll provide everything you need, including a mural kit with paints, brushes, your tile, and simple guidance to get you started. While there is a shared vision for the final mural, each tile is your own space to explore, create, and express your style. Enjoy dirty soda, snacks, and a relaxed, creative evening.
This community-wide project will bring together nearly 950 painted tiles, culminating in a public unveiling on June 4 at the VFW (520 Main Ave). The project is led by the Brookings Regional Growth Alliance and supported by funding from the Brookings Public Art Commission.
