About this Event
YCW Community Movie Nights is a space for young people (18-30yrs) to connect through culturally diverse films. Every fortnight we come together to watch a movie from somewhere else in the world, and have a relaxed group discussion.
Come along if you love movies, enjoy hearing different perspectives, or just want to hang out and meet new people. Free entry and everyone’s welcome!!

Cost: Free entry, but everyone is encouraged to bring a snack to share!
THIS WEEK'S MOVIE: In My Blood it Runs (dir. Maya Newell)
In honour of National Sorry Day
In My Blood It Runs is an observational docu that follows10-yr-old Arrernte Aboriginal boy Dujuan as he grows up Alice Springs. The film captures the clash between his traditional Indigenous upbringing and Australia's state education system.

🚊Public transport: We are a 2 min walk from Parramatta Light rail stop and Parramatta Train Station. Just pop in 'Parramatta Mission' on maps and walk through the carpark on the building's right till you reach the side gate. When you arrive, give us a call on 0411463975 and we will come get you!
🚙 If you are driving, be mindful that you'll be driving along a tram line to reach us. Just give us a call on 0411463975 when you're 5 minutes away so we can meet you at the gate and let you in as it requires a code. Parking is free.
