Community Menopause Health Event
Hello,
We’re pleased to share details of an upcoming Community Menopause Health Event, organised by Community Living Well – Talking Therapies. The event takes place on Thursday 2 October, 9:30am–3:00pm at the Venture Community Association (W10 5YB).
The day will feature expert guest speakers:
- Dr Yasmin Razak – GP at Golborne Medical Centre
- Dr Shree Datta – Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
- Dominic Haigh – Registered Associate Nutritionist
- Ivana Ladan – CBT Therapist, Community Living Well
Together, they will deliver evidence-based health education talks, offering practical advice, tools, and myth-busting discussions in a safe and welcoming community setting. The aim is to empower women during their perimenopause journey, building knowledge, confidence, and support.
Key topics include:
- Physical and hormonal changes and their impact on wellbeing
- Emotional, cognitive, and lifestyle considerations
- Evidence-based approaches to managing symptoms, including HRT guidance
- Practical strategies to support long-term health and confidence
In addition, the event will host wellbeing stalls and structured activities designed to complement the talks and support overall health and wellbeing, plus a community lunch. This free event is open to all, and is a fantastic opportunity to gain insights, ask questions, and connect with others.
