About this Event
You’re invited to a community meeting about the master plan for transforming the Burlingame section of El Camino Real on Thursday, March 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Burlingame Community Center, 850 Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame. Admission is free, but pre-registration is requested.
Presented by the Citizens Environmental Council and supported by the City of Burlingame, this program will feature presentations by Mayor Michael Brownrigg, representatives from the California Department of Transportation and Jennifer Pfaff, president of the Burlingame Historical Society. There will be ample time for questions.
Construction began in January on the three-year project, which will improve drainage, pedestrian access, underground streetlights and replace most of the trees along El Camino Real between Millbrae and San Mateo.
