About this Event
Gratitude gathering for BIPOC trans folks!
Please join us on November 26th for Trans Resistance Massachusetts(TRMA) first community dinner This space of joy will be from 6pm-8pm at The Pryde Community Center at 59 Harvard Avenue, Hyde Park, MA 02136 (at the corner of Harvard Ave & Webster St). The Pryde is wheelchair accessible.
TRMA hopes to make a night of continued commitment to justice, decolonization, and solidarity that must be carried forward. Our dinner is acknowledging the land and original people, centering their history and stories, as many Native Trans folks face the burden of intersectional discrimination.
Please rsvp so we can have a head count for the amount of food we need, and feel free to bring loved ones including pets! The Pryde is pet friendly, service, emotional support, and non, as long as they have a leash. Please be aware if you have pet allergies!
Food will be marked with their contents for allergy purposes. Feel free to bring a dish to share and if you do please label the ingredients.
There will be a short program of speakers and we will have an open floor for anyone to share how they’re feeling. After that program we will have a round of community announcements where we all can share events happening soon and support networks.
Masks provided and highly recommended! Please share in the RSVP accommodations and anything we can do best support your participation and enjoyment of the event!
