There is a reason Community is in our name. Ladies Business Community would like to thank you all for your support of this community and encourage all of you to participate in our quarterly Community Impact Project. The 2nd quarter is spotlighting Light a Lamp and their Project Lift Up.
Light A Lamp non-profit provides a unique form of support for children and teens that are dealing with feelings of hopelessness or anxiety and depression. Health packages are provided to kids that include mental health resources, anti-anxiety tools, hygine items, food or drink vouchers, journals, and various items that promote inspiration and encouragment. The hope is to let these kids know that they are not alone during tough times and to hopefully prevent self harm or harm to others. If their mission speaks to you, feel free to attend to the 4th annual silent auction fundaraiser on June 28th. The goal is to raise funds for this program, Project Lift UP. Currently 80-85 kids recieve health packs every month throughout Mead, Spokane, Spokane Valley and Medical Lake. Let’s all join them on this journey to support our youth.
