About this Event
Brisbane City Council provides free scheduled vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus.
Influenza vaccines
Council currently has influenza vaccines available for residents over the age of 65 (adjuvanted vaccine available).
We also anticipate having the following influenza vaccines in stock early April 2025:
- infants 6 months to 5 years of age
- pregnant women
- residents who are medically at risk.
Check Council's website for updates and avoid making an appointment until vaccine availability has been confirmed.
Prior to your appointment: Print, complete and sign the applicable consent below and present it to staff upon arrival:
- Infant and general population consent
- Seniors consent
Attending the clinic: Residents who have made a booking must attend the clinic by no later than 15 minutes prior to the clinic closing time.
Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated.
Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.
