EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join us for a special Community Hour hosted by Amanda Reads and book designer, Dominique Jones, for an evening of crafts, book swap, and creative discussions on their perspectives and experiences within the book community.
We welcome book lovers, authors, and creatives who all share a passion for literacy to uncover the world of books and creativity.
Participants will take part in a book swap, activity stations like badazzel your own book cover, style your own bookmark, and much more.
Light snacks and drinks to be provided.
WHAT TO BRING:
- 2-3 books to swap
- ID card to enter the building
ABOUT THE HOST
is a book content creator with a focus on book reviews, book memes, and interview-style content. She has built her platform off the idea of being authentically yourself in the space and making it fun.
Through this, she’s been able to work with brands and publishers, host events, as well as offer encouragement to up-and-coming creators or people looking to get into book content creation.
