Community Grief Ritual

This gathering is a time to set aside the urgencies of our lives and center the tenderness of our Love and our Grief.

After agreement and container creation, we will settle into our bodies and into the present moment. The community grief ritual was adapted from teachings of Malidoma Some and Sobonfu Some from Burkina Faso. We will connect with our individual griefs, and then come together to witness and support each other in the expression of our grief. This is a potent ritual of heartache, which in turn creates its own medicine. After the ritual ends, we will hold a closing circle for integration.
