Art as a vehicle for social change!
About this Event
Manifesting Freedom: the Arts as our Universal Anthem
Join us for a vibrant community gathering to raise awareness and funds for Savannah Pride Center and Cleo the Project Space — two incredible organizations championing LGBTQ+ visibility and creative expression in Savannah.
Hear from Jeanette McCune, Executive Director of Cleo the Project Space, and Michel Bell, Executive Director of the Savannah Pride Center, about what they're building for our community and how you can be more involved.
The evening also features an exhibition of original drawings by local artists, created in response to the theme Manifesting Freedom — rooted in the belief that art holds the transformative power to turn the abstract concept of freedom into lived reality, serving as a vehicle for social change, a counter to repression, and a space for authentic expression.
To close the night in style, we are thrilled to welcome drag queen Chi Chi Bonet Sherrington for a live performance. We look forward to seeing you there!
