Who is the Community Gardener?
The Community Gardener supports various community gardens within South Swindon parish, either through maintenance or by providing guidance and support. They combine horticultural expertise with community engagement, working closely with Residents, Volunteers, Councillors and Council staff to develop beautiful spaces that help make South Swindon a better place for us all to live.
What is a Community Garden?
Community gardens are shared outdoor spaces that belong to the community. They can vary from raised beds and landscaped areas, to communal allotment sites and designated gardening areas.
What about Manor Road?
Manor Road Community Garden is a peaceful and secure communal garden based in South Swindon, close to the town centre. It is a shared space, where various groups and organisations come together to grow, socialise and experience activities while getting closer to nature.
