About this Event
On average, 250 people begin to lose their sight every day in the UK. In many ways, that can mean re-learning how to interact with the world - both indoors and outdoors. This calls for support and guidance, as well as a community that can offer appropriate assistance, when it's needed.
This March, we're joined by Sight Support Worthing, who provide advice and support for blind and partially sighted people, and their families. On the 21st of March, they're running a workshop at our Community Garden Social. This interactive session is designed to challenge your perception of sight loss, while sharing the skills that will allow you to provide that all important assistance.
Join us on the 21st of March, Community Garden, Brooklands Park, from 10am to 2pm and re-learn how to experience the outdoors.
Tickets are £2.50 per adult and £1.50 for five to 16 year-olds. Under fives are free. And if any of that is too much, just get in touch.
