Hi all!I’m working on creating a community garden on my land downtown with Hayley from @livingrootsnc, and we’re hosting a plant sale to help fund it. We really want this to grow into something special for those in the community. There will be a mixture of outdoor plants to choose from including veggies seedlings and flowers. Some will be pay what you can- so no one is left out!
If we end up raising more than what we need for the current garden build, anything extra will be donated to @wakeforestpride.
Also, if you’ve been looking for a landscaper who actually cares about what she’s planting and why, Hayley is incredible.
April 18 is going to be busy downtown in the best way. The Wake Forest Pride yard sale will be happening in the same space, and Forest Fest is going on too. You can make a whole day of it!
And… we’re going to need hands. If you’d like to volunteer to help build or maintain the garden, please message me. I would love that.
