About this Event
Calling all teens! The National Portrait Gallery will host a four-day camp during the Civic Season, which runs from Juneteenth to the Fourth of July. Teens will explore their role in shaping the future for themselves and their community through art, discussions and interactive activities. Participants can connect with peers and dive into thought-provoking art making to explore what lies ahead in their lives and careers. Participants will also meet with museum staff to learn about career paths in the museum. Free and open to teens entering 9th–12th grades; lunch will be provided. Free – Registration required.
The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. If you have questions about the accessibility of this program, or if you would like to request real-time captioning (CART), sign language interpretation, or any other accommodations, please contact Vanessa Jones at [email protected]. Two weeks advance notice is appreciated for requesting accommodations.
