Community Food Garden Design Workshop - This event is FREE and open to everyone!
Earthwatch, together with The Orchard Project and Funkin Cocktails will be helping to establish a community food forest in Hendon and we want everyone to be involved in creating this new and exciting space!
On Tuesday 13th August we will be running a design workshop, where we will learn more about the following:
Why: why we are doing this?
How: Principles & practices of food gardens (layers / functions)
What: Tasting/exploring different plant options
Practical considerations: soil space design guidelines
Design: explore, create, celebrate the final design
There will be sharing picnic nibbles and we encourage you to bring you own picnic too!
Date and Time: Tuesday 13th August, 3pm - 7pm - we welcome you to join us for the entire session but should this not be possible please drop in when you can.

What to bring: We will be outdoors, so check the weather beforehand and dress accordingly! We will have a gazebo for cover in case of rain.
