You are warmly invited to join us at Arai te Uru Marae for a Manaakitanga Community Pōwhiri

Please arrive at 10:30am in the carpark to prepare for the pōwhiri, which will begin at 11:00am. Our gathering will conclude around 2:00pm.
This will be a vibrant, multicultural celebration of connection, culture, and community. Whether it’s your first time on a marae, your first pōwhiri, or you simply feel called to come—this space is for you.
✨ Bring your whānau and friends or come along on your own and meet beautiful new people.
✨ If you would like to share your culture through kōrero, waiata, dance, or kai, we would love to hear from you—either beforehand or on the day.

Expect a day filled with ceremony, learning, laughter, kai, music, and meaningful connection.
We are blessed to have presentations in the wharenui to support our kaupapa of allowing our voices to be heard.
Our whakataukī for this gathering is:
