Keep themselves, family, neighbors, & the community safe; before, during, and after an emergency or disaster strikes.
Be prepared to help when disaster strikes until professional responders arrive and learn how to communicate and interact with responders in the most efficient way.
Learn basic preparedness, fire safety, light search & rescue, medical triage & treatment, terrorism, CERT organization, and disaster psychology. This course culminates with a simulated disaster exercise.
