This is a one day horse camp event! The preferred age range is 7-12 years old. No experience required. We will teach safety, balance, riding skills, names and usage of equipment, and horse behaviors.
They will play games, do arts and crafts, and have a great day meeting new friends.
We will provide everything they need for the day including drinks, snacks, and lunch! You are welcome to send any additional snacks or drinks if you would like. Parents are welcome to stay OR drop off and pick up!
You're probably wondering about the title. What is unique about this camp (series of camps) is that it is also a benefit to raise money for Rocky Start Ranch! If you purchase a spot for your child, you will be gifting a spot to a child in the foster care system in our community. That's right! We have partnered with Elmore County DHR to provide camp for children in the system who might not otherwise get to attend something like this. Your purchase provides that opportunity as well as giving your child an amazing experience.
It costs $65 to provide camp for one child. So, if you purchase a spot, we are going to match your purchase by gifting a spot to a child in foster care! If you don't have children who would like to attend, you can still sponsor a child in the foster care system!! Message here, call, or text to reserve!
