Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - Trains citizens in medical first-aid, triage, light search and rescue, fire suppression, and terrorism awareness. Upon completion of the 24 hour course, registrants who attend all classes will become a CERT volunteer and receive a CERT backpack. This course is FREE and provides basic training.

CERT Basic Training:

• Be able to identify hazards that affect your home, workplace, and neighborhood
• Work as a team to apply search and rescue techniques
• Understand the function of CERTs and their role in immediate disaster response
• Basic fire suppression strategies and fire safety measures
• Management of resources in medical response operations

You must attend all three days to complete training.
