All skill levels are welcome, from seasoned players to those who've never touched a drum before. Bring your own drum (djembe, conga, bongos, cajón, handpan, or anything that makes a beat), or borrow one of ours—we'll have extras ready to share. With Dayle’s guidance, simple rhythms connect, build, and become something bigger than any one person.Free and open to all.

Meet your Host:
Dayle Huffman has always been a teacher at heart; she just found her classroom in unexpected places. "I always wanted to be a teacher, but instead I was led to become a nurse, and there I did my teaching." Throughout her work across the medical field, a clear thread kept calling her back to wellness, healing, and the arts. Today, she helps people care for their well-being through drumming, Qigong, and reflective writing. Through her platform, Sojourn Artistry, Dayle creates welcoming spaces where people can come together in more meaningful ways—sharing rhythm, movement, and creative expression to build connection and support personal growth.
