Standing Up for Open Space, Clean Water & Community Centered Growthpurchase tickets at https://donorbox.org/basic-fundraising-form-4
They say everyone’s a little Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and while luck can’t hurt, real change takes work.
The Saturday after St. Patrick’s Day, from4-7pm, join in support of Paul Dongarra, a candidate for Baltimore County Council, District One, and a leader committed to protecting open space, safeguarding our drinking water, and reshaping how growth happens in our communities. You will be emailed details about the Catonsville location once you've RSVP'd by donating.
And here’s where a little leprechaun magic comes in:
Like St. Patrick’s Day luck, your donation is matched through the Fair Election Fund, amplifying your voice and giving everyday residents, not only developers, a real seat at the table when decisions about land use and development are made.
There is an old Irish proverb that asks:
“Is this a private fight, or can anyone jump in?”
We are inviting you to jump in, roll up your sleeves and help ensure we grow in ways that strengthen communities, protect natural resources, and allow for reinvestment in neighborhoods that have been overlooked for decades.
For too long, local governance has been dominated by a development lobby that effectively chose our councilperson for us, privatizing the profits of development while socializing the costs onto taxpayers and neighborhoods. This campaign is about taking local government back and promoting Smart Growth that is equitable, sustainable, and centered on community needs.
