About this Event
Residents of Washington, DC continue to face significant disparities related to access to preventive care, mental health services, dental care and wellness education, making community-based events like this essential. The Community Day Health Fair was created to help bridge that gap by connecting the community directly with trusted organizations and providers, health and wellness screenings, and resources in a welcoming and accessible community environment.
The Community Day Health Fair will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Sycamore & Oak and will feature:
- On-site health, dental, and wellness screenings
- Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Future dental van
- Mental health and medical resource providers
- Fitness demonstrations for the whole family
- Free haircuts
- Interactive panel discussions focused on improving mental health and whole health
- Healthy lunch and snacks and more
