I am on a mission to create more in-person communities AND encourage creativity. These are both declining in this day in age. We are glued and addicted to our phones, lots of us have lost the childlike expression of creativity, and since the pandemic we have become more isolated than ever. This is my solution and I would so happy if you joined in on my mission!
What to expect:
-Lay out your blanket
-Work on whatever craft, art, or creative project you are working on. (Or start something new!✦)
-Have conversations with people in your community
Please don't tell me that you aren't a creative person. YES YOU ARE. You just haven't unlocked it in a while. Your artistry is dormant, not dead.
꩜꩜꩜ Because this is a free event, please bring your own craft supplies. Here are some examples of things to bring. You don't need to buy anything, grab what you have!
WHAT TO BRING: Blanket to lay on. Bring whatever creative project you are working on! Writing a book, short story, poetry, music? Then bring a pen and paper. You can bring pens, markers, paint, crochet or knitting material, a book to read, junk journal material, magazines for collaging, whatever you want!
Parking: You can park for free along the street, S State College Blvd, just by the entrance of Ted Craig Regional Park. We will be set up near Parking lot A.
