Come join us at the Williamson County Public Library for a hands-on CPR training event!

This course does not provide certification. It is for people who want to learn CPR but don’t need a certification for work. Attendees will receive a participation card, which can be helpful for those who babysit.
Participants will learn adult, child, and infant CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to relieve choking.
The classes will be taught by Franklin Firefighters who are paramedics and American Heart Association CPR Instructors, using the AHA's Family & Friends curriculum.
Recommended for ages 12 and older.
This course involves kneeling on the floor, bending over, and physical activity, so please wear suitable clothing.
According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival following cardiac arrest.
