Community Conversations with Emory Parkinson’s Disease Researchers
Join Parkinson's disease researchers at Emory University for the 14th annual Udall Center Community Conversations event on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The event will be held at Emory’s Brain Health Center (click 'Show map' above under 'Location'). Registration opens at 8:30 am.
The 2024 event will feature a series of discussions in which groups of attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current Parkinson’s disease research topics with Emory scientists. This year's topics will include:
- Gut Health and Parkinson's Disease
- New Treatments for Parkinson's Disease
- Brain Circuit Abnormalities in Parkinson's Disease
The group sessions will be followed by a lunchtime presentation by:
- Dr. Michael Okun, Director, Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida
- Dr. John Seibyl, Executive Director, and Senior Scientist at the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders.
The event is free, but registration is required because seating is limited. Lunch will be provided, and free parking is available close to the meeting location.
This program will be supported by a grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation and support from the American Parkinson Disease Association.
