Community Conversations: History Belongs to All of Us

The Illinois State Historical Society is proud to be selected by Illinois Humanities as a host for this year’s Community Conversations series. Throughout Illinois, the special theme of “History Belongs to All of Us” will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the United States. 

Join us and participate in discussion about how the people who lived in Illinois before, during, and after the founding of the United States responded to this world-changing document. All sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Brian Mitchell, historian and educator.            

All sessions are OPEN to everyone for FREE. Registration required.
