The IBD Center will host Community Conversations about Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis on January 10th, 2026. Please join Ross McMillian, MD, PhD; Marita Kametas, APN; Courtney Schuchmann, RD; Edwin K. McDonald, IV, MD; Meredith Yellen, MD; and other members of the University of Chicago Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, to share your thoughts and questions about food, nutrition, and the challenges of living with inflammatory bowel disease on Chicago’s South side.
We will discuss health equity and access, diet and nutrition, and disparities in IBD treatment and care, along with best practices for management and monitoring of IBD in 2026.
Bring your questions and ideas, and your appetite. Breakfast and coffee break refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend this program, but space is limited, so please, RSVP!
