Many people today feel concern, confusion, grief, or simply questions about violence in our communities. Often, we don’t know where to talk about those things in a respectful way.Southminster Presbyterian Church is hosting an evening conversation designed to be a calm, welcoming space to listen, learn, and ask thoughtful questions together.
This is not a debate or a political rally.
It is a moderated panel discussion with people who work in community safety, advocacy, and support for families. They will share their experiences and help us better understand what is happening in our city and what caring responses can look like.
You are welcome whether you:
• have strong opinions
• are unsure what you think
• simply want to listen and learn
No one will be asked to speak. You may simply attend, hear different perspectives, and leave with more understanding than when you arrived.
