Join us as we explore how communities, landscapes and buildings can adapt to climate change, social challenges, and collective needs—creating places that are flexible, equitable, and empowering. We’ll reflect on Pangea’s history in climate action and preview their new forever home in the business district.
What to Expect
Introduction to Resilience
Learn how resilience can be built into community spaces and the built environment. We’ll explore adaptive strategies that support well-being, equity, and sustainability for the community. Together, we’ll commit to actionable ideas, make recommendations, and co-create a Longfellow plan that is strong, connected, and thriving.
Hands-On Activities
Engage in interactive, multi-disciplinary breakout sessions where you’ll apply resilience concepts to the Longfellow neighborhood. Activities include sharing experiences, mapping, collaborative problem-solving, storytelling, and creative exercises to explore flexible, adaptive, and regenerative strategies.
Local Insights
Hear from professionals, community members, and artists about resilient communities, regenerative design, and social adaptation. Share your perspective and help shape strategies that strengthen Longfellow socially, ecologically, and culturally.
