About this Event
๐ฃ This edition of the Community Circle Morning will be guided by our guest facilitator: Audrey Dickinson, Nutritional Therapist
๐ฟ About the session: Stay Meno+Positive!
Menopause is a deeply personal journey, and no two experiences are exactly the same. For some, it may bring physical changes such as joint pain, digestive issues, bloating, fatigue or sleep disruption; for others, it may show up more through anxiety, mood changes, cravings, or simply feeling โnot quite like yourself.โ
In this supportive Community Circle Morning, nutritional therapist Audrey Dickinson will introduce us to a more positive, informed and grounded way of understanding menopause. Together, we will explore how nutrition, gut health, blood sugar balance, sleep, liver support and simple self-care practices can help us feel more resilient and more at home in our bodies during this transition.
During this session, you can expect:
- A gentle introduction to what may happen in the body during menopause
- Simple nutrition tips to support hormone balance
- Insight into why stable blood sugar matters for energy, mood and cravings
- A closer look at the role of gut health and inflammation
- Practical dietary shifts that may help ease symptoms such as bloating, fatigue and anxiety
- Space for reflection, questions and shared conversation in a welcoming setting
As always at Bezuidenhout Social Club, this is not just a lecture.
It is a warm and social morning where we learn something useful, connect with others, and open up conversations that many of us may be experiencing quietly or privately.
๐ฅ Who is this for?
This morning is for anyone who is curious about menopause, perimenopause, hormone health, or how food and lifestyle can support us through changing life phases.
You may be in perimenopause or menopause yourself, approaching that stage, supporting someone close to you, or simply wanting to understand your body better.
No prior knowledge is needed โ just openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be part of a respectful and supportive conversation.
This session is especially for you if you would like to:
- Feel more informed and less alone in the menopause journey
- Understand how nutrition can support mood, energy and overall well-being
- Explore simple, realistic ways to care for your body
- Meet other like-minded people in a warm English-speaking community
- Join a conversation that is honest, practical and gently empowering

โ๏ธ Community Circle Mornings: Connect, Share, Get Inspired
About the Community Circle Mornings:
Once a month, on the second Tuesday, we gather for something a little deeper than a regular coffee meetup: our Community Circle Morning.
Together, we slow down, connect, and explore meaningful topics in a safe, friendly setting.
Each session is lightly facilitated and offers space for reflection, honest conversation, and meeting others beyond the usual small talk.
It is for anyone who would like to feel more connected, grounded, and at home in their local community.
You do not need to know anyone beforehand, as the circle is designed to make joining feel gentle and accessible.
