Inspired by Singing Resistance Twin Cities, we are excited and eager to help Singing Resistance Fox Cities find its collective voice as we organize, mobilize, and take to the streets, rallies, community centers and gatherings, etc while using the power of our shared voices in music and song to create change and transformation for good.
Mark and I attended a webinar recently with the Singing Resistance team. Around 3000 people attended!! The purpose is to support groups all around the country (and world!) to join the movement in Singing Resistance for a brighter, better world.
The webinar was AMAZING! This team is inspired! organized! and super LOVING and supportive!! They’ve created a toolkit and songbook for all of us to utilize so we can step right into the wave they’ve so beautifully created and ride it right here in the Fox Cities to SING and raise our voices locally!
This project will take a village! If you can not attend on March 19th (and also unavailable on 3.14 for our Oshkosh rally) and you want to get involved and help please follow this link for more information and a link to a form you can fill out and share your interests and get connected into the Singing Resistance Fox Cities movement.
Our first community sing on March 5th was so inspiring. Please attend our 2nd community sing and informational meeting so we can connect and build momentum toward organizing, mobilizing, and of course SINGing!! If you can’t wait for March 19th we will also be singing at Opera House Square on 3.14 with Peaceful Patriots at 1 pm and rallying for Pi Day. 3.14 Pi Day Peaceful Patriots Details HERE. Meeting Agenda for April 9th
This meeting will be to continue to introduce the Fox Cities to Singing Resistance where we can meet each other, where we can share info and collectively co-create ideas to share and grow interest and participation … AND!! of course, we will SING!!
And, because be we LOVE mutual aid and directly helping our communities, we are inviting you to bring donations that will directly help our local refugee families in our 3 county area that the Multicultural Coalition supports through their FREE Store in Menasha.
