Join Dunwoody City Council Member Joe Seconder on March 29 for a special Community Bike Ride celebrating Dunwoody’s new neighborhood path connection linking Eidson Road and Cherry Hill Lane. This family-friendly ride is a great opportunity to enjoy Dunwoody’s growing path network, meet neighbors, and connect in a relaxed, active setting.
Meet at Brook Run Park at 1:45 p.m. for a brief pre-ride meeting, with the group rolling out promptly at 2:00 p.m. The ride will be accompanied by a Dunwoody Police bike patrol escort to help provide a safe and comfortable experience for participants.
The group will ride through the neighborhood streets of Dunwoody North along Peeler Road to Winters Chapel, with stops at the new path connection and a visit to Piccola Pizza for a complimentary slice. The route is approximately 2.27 miles one-way, making it accessible for riders of a wide range of ages and abilities.

- 1:45 PM: Welcome & safety talk with Council Member Joe Seconder
- 2:00 PM: Group ride begins
- 2:30 PM: Celebrate new neighborhood path connection
- 4:00 PM: Arrive back at Brook Run
👥 Who Should Come?
All are welcome—from confident elementary-age riders to active adults of all generations. The pace will be easygoing, and the group will stay together throughout the ride.
🔸 Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult throughout the ride.🔸
📝 What to Bring:
- A bike in good working condition
- A helmet
- A full water bottle
- Comfortable clothes – no spandex needed!
- And most importantly… a fun, can-do attitude! 😄
This ride is not suitable for training wheels, scoot bikes, or tricycles.
