Come learn the art of cyanotype printing using UV-sensitive chemicals and the sun. We will arrange pressed plants alongside images related to collective liberation to create stunning blue & white prints! Led by local artist & art therapist Cait Fogerty (@ecoarttherapist)This monthly event is a free creative kickback for our community, hosted by local trans and disabled artists Barry Lee and Noah Grigni. This is a safe and accessible space for collective healing through art, which welcomes all skill levels, all art forms, and all ages. Art supplies will be provided! Community Art Making happens on the second Sunday of each month. No reservation or ticket is required. Masks are required inside the store.
This event is free and open to all people, especially to those who have no income or low income, but we encourage and appreciate a solidarity donation in support of the work of Charis Circle, our programming non-profit. Charis Circle's mission is to foster sustainable feminist communities, work for social justice, and encourage the expression of diverse and marginalized voices.
