Community Art Jam
Join us Friday, Dec 5th from 10-12pm to unwind, connect, and create together at the Los Altos Community Center (Birch art room). Whether you paint, draw, craft or just want to play, this is your space to make something. Bring your own supplies and projects. We will have a short icebreaker for a little spark of inspiration where a volunteer will share something new.
What to expect:
- Bring whatever you like to work with or have on hand (paper, pencils, paints, crayons, crafts... whatever).
- Join a short ice breaker and work on your own projects.
- Make something, meet new people, and have fun.

? This month’s icebreaker:
Experience an introduction to the Ripple Practice™ with your Los Altos neighbor, Mansi, a self-taught mixed media artist and author of Little Tokens of Love, Big Ripples of Happiness (Schiffer Craft, 2026). Learn how to let your intuition guide individual pieces of art using whatever mediums you have on hand: watercolor, crayons, colored pencils, markers or acrylics.
Materials needed: 2 sheets of cardstock or watercolor paper, whatever mediums you're comfortable using, paintbrushes if using watercolors, scissors, glue, and a journal if you'd like to collage.
