Join us Sunday, November 30th at 5:30 at the Marsh House as we gather with other believers in our community for the annual Community Advent Walk with Christmas carols, Scripture readings, and end with a reception hosted this year by LaFayette First Baptist.We will meet on the front lawn at the Marsh House and proceed on foot to some of the nearby churches. At each stop along the way, we will pause to listen to the reading of God's Word and sing together. The Scripture readings and lyrics for each stop will be available online this year. At the conclusion of the Advent Walk, all are invited to the reception with light refreshments.
There will be a rain plan. So, even if it is pouring, we will still gather as a community of believers to celebrate Advent together.
