Schools, parents and carers are invited to our drop in open day to find out about our Farm and Forest Non-School Alternative Provision.
About this Event

Our open day is an opportunity to meet our team, visit our woodland site at Heaton Park, and discover how our alternative provision programmes may support the needs of your child or the young people you work with.

Programmes we offer include:

Key Stage 1 – 4 | Turn Around Intervention

A nature-based intervention delivered outdoors on one of our therapeutic farm or forest school settings aimed to support school engagement, progress, and wellbeing.

Key Stage 3 – 4 | Part-time Vocational Provision

Our animal care and outdoor-based vocational skills and qualifications enhance the school curriculum by helping children and young people to explore personal interests, build practical knowledge, and develop real-life skills in a working environment - providing pathways to further education, training, and employment.

KS1 – 4 | Complimentary Provision including mentoring

Our nature-based complimentary provision delivered at our woodland and farm locations are designed for children and young people experiencing barriers to learning in a school setting. Our play therapist and qualified teaching staff are experienced in working with children with a range of SEN and SEMH needs.
