Join us Monday, June 15th (The Atrium at 40 Water St., Boston) for our Commonwealth Seminar annual celebration: “In the Room & At The Table” as we celebrate our Seminar Family and our "Champions of Inclusion"
This year, we are honoring companies, organizations and individuals who have stood steadfast in their support, and have continued to elevate, diverse communities in spite of increasingly hostile policies and environments in the private sector.
As our communities, histories, and rights are attacked seemingly every day, our honorees have been courageous and unwavering in the fight to ensure our voices are heard and our communities continue to advance.
~ About the Seminar:
Since 2003, nearly 2,500 Seminar alumni, from throughout Massachusetts and the world, have gained the skills, mindset, and networks to help them influence decision-makers at all levels of government for the betterment of their communities.
The Seminar is a non-partisan, non-profit organization with a mission of “Opening the Doors of Government to Everyone”.
Three times a year, we offer a six-week legislative training course for leaders & activists who live in, and work with, underserved communities so that they might more effectively advocate for their communities and the issues they care about.
Over 90% of our nearly 2,500 alumni are from communities-of-color, over 70% of our graduates are either immigrants or New Americans, and 67% are women. reach a wide-ranging, diverse population.
