Along with the premiere of Common Ground, we’ll also be showing Guardian of the Giants, a visually stunning and emotionally rich documentary centered on Maine’s most iconic animal, the moose. The film follows state moose biologist Lee Kantar and his team, offering rare access into decades of fieldwork in the North Woods. From aerial collaring to studying the impacts of winter ticks and climate change, it provides a firsthand look at the science and effort behind conserving one of the region’s most important species.
Throughout the night, there will be opportunities to enter raffles for gear used in the film from Stone Glacier, along with a custom rifle build featured in the hunt. The rifle includes components from MDT, Defiance Machine, Proof Research, and Bushnell. All raffle proceeds will go toward supporting the Wild Sheep Foundation.
Come out, grab a beer, and be part of a night centered around hunting, storytelling, and the people who make it meaningful.
