About this Event
Please Support and Attend the 68th Anniversary Commemorative Luncheon of Brown vs the Board of Education being presented by the Thurgood Marshall Center Trust, Inc. featuring A. Scott Bolden of Reed Smith Law Firm:
The importance of quality education for African Americans (and other disenfranchised populations) has never been more critical to the future of the individual, community, and nation, yet many of segregationists’ tools utilized pre-Brown, persist today. The Thurgood Marshall Center Trust, in celebration and commemoration of the original Brown decision, present a panel of legal scholars, educators, and our Board of Directors members to discuss the impact of Brown. Join us for a Call to Action designed to build awareness of school re-segregation, the loss of Black educators, and resistance to inclusive instruction (critical race theory).
