Commemorations at Christmas Carol Service 2024
Join us on Monday 2nd December 2024 at 7pm for our annual Commemorations at Christmas Carol Service, held in the magnificent setting of the Royal Military Chapel (The Guards' Chapel) in London.
We warmly invite you and your family to share this special event, featuring a stunning performance by the Choir of the Guards’ Chapel. This year, we are honoured to welcome two very special guests: Colin Thackery, winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2019, and Emma Brown, internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano. Together, they will bring their exceptional talents to this unforgettable evening of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for those who died during the two World Wars.
This year’s service will focus on the Legacy of Liberation, with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s Torch of Commemoration present as a central symbol throughout the event. The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation supports a range of innovative projects that educate people, especially the younger generation, about the work of the CWGC and the brave men and women who gave their lives in the two World Wars. The money raised at this event will directly fund these efforts.
After the service, please consider joining us in the Officers' Mess for an exclusive reception with some festive food and drinks.
Come together with us this December to commemorate the season, connect with others, embrace the holiday spirit, and honour the Legacy of Liberation. Don’t miss out on this heart-warming and reflective fundraising event!
