About this Event

Have you ever wondered how and where an author gets their ideas from? In this event, Lou Abercrombie will reveal the inspiration behind her stories in a fascinating talk about the behind-the-scenes writing process. Coming Up for Air is a quirky coming-of-age story featuring Coco and her love of swimming and natural talent for freediving – before a disaster at sea strikes. In Lou’s debut book, Fig Swims the World, the watery theme continues when Fig Fitzsherbert embarks on an adventure of a lifetime.

This event is aimed at children aged nine years+ and young teens.

Author Lou Abercrombie has worked in television as an Audio Engineer and then as a Post Production Manager before reinventing herself as a portrait photographer.

The space is on the ground floor, with level entry. There is a toilet on the basement level, which is not wheelchair accessible.

Please book a ticket for every individual who will be attending. As capacity is limited and we would love as many young people as possible to be able to enjoy the event, we ask where possible to please only book one adult/carer per family, thank you.
